JAI 69 - Just Add Fussy Cutting

*********Edited to add to this message. We've had to delete a few submissions this week. Please see the rules at the bottom of this post. Fussy cutting is not just cutting out one image it is cutting out a number of images. Paper piecing of an image is fine but just cutting out a hat is not. *****************************

Thanks to Paula for this awesome challenge. A lot of us just adore fussy cutting and we hope you all get to play along with us this week!

So what is fussy cutting?

Fussy cutting is a Quilting term but we papercrafters have done this for years too. Basically it's cutting out intricate pieces of paper for your card or scrapbook page.

Like it? We did ... and here's what the Design Team came up with -

Delys Cram

Bronwyn Eastley

Jodene Tripp

Patrice Easton

Nikki Spencer

Chantell Randall

Kim Badelt

Kathy Tanner

Mae Collins

Paula Dobson

Gardenia Pepworth

And our final submissions from our two wonderful Guest Design Team members..

Clare

and

Liam

Thanks so much for all of your gorgeous creations this month Clare and Liam!

Please check out our amended rules ...

JAI 67 - Sketch

Hi Inkers!

We've had quite a few theme challenges lately to coincide with special events but this week we're back to 'regular programming' with a sketch challenge to get your creative juices flowing.

This is my (Bron's) very first sketch design and I hope it inspires you to play along with us over the next TWO WEEKS. Entries close at midnight, AEST on Wednesday 18th May.

Yes ... the challenge is running for a little longer due to the fact that most of the team will be at the National Stampin' Up! Convention in Melbourne next week. Hope to see you there!
